Timber
The two classifications we look for when sourcing our timber are FSC (ForestStewardship Certification) and PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification). These classifications are awarded for environmentally, socially responsible and economically viable forest management.

We only use Timber and sheet materials which are deemed to be ethical and which carry certification from the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) or the Program for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC) who promote sustainably managed forests worldwide. We do not use any tropical hardwood’s.
Paint
Farrow & Ball paint has a depth of colour with natural pigments that refract the light differently throughout the day, giving a truly organic and natural feel. Their colours are vibrant and traditional, making them an excellent choice for period properties.

F+B paints are classed as Low VOC (Volataile Organic Compounds) but far exceed the standards for the category.
VOCs are the culprits behind the strong smell of some traditional paints, a result of pollutants being released into the atmosphere as the paint dries. By contrast, low or zero VOC finishes do not release any nasty fumes, giving you a product that’s safe, comfortable to live with, and kinder to the environment.

Lakeland is the only range of totally solvent-free odourless eco friendly non toxic paints available anywhere in the world today and has been independently tested to reveal 0.000% Solvents & VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds).
Tile adhesive
Kerakoll is the first company in the world to offer a comprehensive package of GreenBuilding materials and services to build and live in healthy homes that won't harm the environment.
GreenBuilding is the building style, which focuses on the environment and on improving both health and quality of life by using environmentally friendly, naturally breathable, and highly energy-efficient building materials.
Recycling
The Department for Environment Food & Rural Affairs (DEFRA) report on Fly-tipping statistics for England, 2018/19 highlights that the number of reported fly-tipping incidents involving construction and demolition waste are now at their highest (56,000).

All construction waste removed from our clients property will be done so by a licensed waste carrier or skip hire company so you have complete piece of mind.
Vehicles

In order to minimise pollution and harmful gasses, our vans are ULEZ compliant and meet Euro 6 standards for low emissions.
In the first week of the project we organise a one-off delivery from the local builders merchant, resulting in less time on the road.
